I spent about thirty minutes camped out under the Broadway Street overpass with several other cars while strong winds blew through (part of the system that produced tornadoes all over Central Arkansas tonight) and knocked down signs, power lines, and trees. You can see trash cans being blown across the flooded street in this clip, and can see the power flickering at the gas station. Remember- we used this as a spot to get off the elevated interstate where semis were being pushed by the wind and out of the hail/signs being blown around. An overpass isn't a safe place to be during a tornado, so lucky for us it wasn't one (since there really wasn't anywhere else to go around there).
